READY FOR SERVICE
Wk 21 Day 2

Exodus 29:44-46
44 "So I will consecrate the Tent of Meeting and the altar and will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests. 45 Then I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God. 46 They will know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them out of Egypt so that I might dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.

  • God is the one who calls.
  • He is the one who ordains.
  • He consecrated Aaron and his sons to serve Him as priests.
  • After He did, He made a promise the He will dwell among the Israelites and be their God.
  • To show them that He is the God who brought them out of Egypt.
  • This is to prove and show God's power and His glory.

When God calls us, He will consecrate us and sanctify us - to be ready for service and to give glory to His name. He is the only one who can do this even without us doing anything for it. He chooses for us (without violating our free will) and gives us an assignment. Yet, He still gives us the gift to choose things besides His already-made blueprint for us. When God called Aaron and his sons to serve Him as priests, He purified and consecrated them to be ready for service.

:: I believe that God has ordained my days to serve Him full time in the ministry at this time. He has orchestrated everything so I will get to this point in my life. Though I may have delayed it because of wrong choices, I believe God still made everything work out for the good. Praise God! Now that I am serving Him, this ought to let people know that He is GOD; for His glory to be shown. Therefore, in everything, I must be faithful to what God has called me to do. I will serve Him wholly and with great gladness. It is TRULY an honor to be called to serve Him in the ministry.

God has sanctified me through His Son Jesus Christ. Praise God, the ultimate atonement of my sins have been done through the cross. PRAISE BE TO GOD! I praise and worship Him for He has made things good work-free for me. All for His grace and mercy! I will live my life for Him.

// Lord, You are so awesome. Please help me to be faithful to where you have called me - to serve you in the church as a "Levite". Oh Lord please give me strength and the mind-set to always think remember that you have called me to show who You are; Your glory to appear and for people to know that You are God. Indeed, You have already shown Your greatness through provision and guiding me through the process of things as I jump into truly living by faith in following your call in the ministry. You have been faithful and will always be. Help me to be the same because I love you and I want to give glory to Your name. Thank you! In Jesus' name, amen.
