GRACE ABOUNDS
Make up reading
Wk 20 Day 1

2 Corinthians 9:8 (AMP)
8And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].

  • Praise God for His promise of provision.
  • He is able to make all grace, favor and blessing to come to us.
  • Not only that, He gives it in abundance!
  • This verse is preceded with what it means to give, to sow generously for God loves a cheerful giver.
  • It's reminding us that when we give and provide to others, though it may cost us, God is ABLE to make ALL GRACE and blessings and favor to come to us in abundance.
  • What we give is reciprocated back by God.
  • He reciprocates these blessings at all times, so we can have all that we need in order for us to abound in the good work that we have done for His glory.
  • Therefore, when we give, know that it does not go to waste because God knows it and He sees the good work that we've done; He will bless us back.

// There shouldn't be any hint of greediness in my life. Even when the times when I don't feel like giving to some people because of their actions, I must be willing to "sow" in them generously. I know that God will provide for me and has been generously providing for ALL the things that I need. I do not lack anything because He's been looking out for me. If God gives me generously, how can I be so greedy not to give away what has been given to me? I want to be a channel of that blessing to others and I know that God will make me abound in every work that I do for His glory!

\\ Lord, thank you for reminding me the importance of giving generously. Forgive me for the times that I choose who to give and how much and what to give. I pray that you will continually change my heart that I will always remember your promise that You will never leave me. Help me to remind myself always that with what I sow in giving to people, you will bring it back a hunder-fold. Thank you Oh Lord for Your provision. You have NEVER failed me! In Jesus' name, amen.
