Psalm 50:23
23He who brings an offering of praise and thanksgiving honors and glorifies Me; and he who orders his way aright [who prepares the way that I may show him], to him I will demonstrate the salvation of God. (AMP)
It's the praising life that honors me.
As soon as you set your foot on the Way,
I'll show you my salvation." (The Msg)
- God is pleased with those who honor Him.
- He not only is pleased, but He also shows His salvation.
- Salvation from death, His wrath, life's troubles, paths of unrighteousness (Psalm 23).
- Keep your ways aright.
For us to see the salvation of God, we ought to do our part. We ought to honor Him with our lives. If we want to see the miracles of God in our lives, we need to live out what God wants us to do - to offer a living sacrifice, our lives - Romans 12:1-2, by not conforming to how the world operates. We are set apart and being sanctified day by day we walk with Christ. When we walk on the Way, we see His salvation unfold. PRAISE GOD!
I cannot trade this for anything. I want to see the salvation of God unfold in my life. I want to see the miracles of God take place that everyone who testifies and have seen it happen will glorify His name. I will honor Him with my life. I will live for His name to be praised. I will do my best to be excellent in everything that I do, in all aspects of my life. I know I can do this with Christ who strengthens me! Hallelujah.
Lord, thank you for your promise that never fails. Indeed, you are our salvation; my salvation. Please give me the strength and the ability to do things the most excellent way that I can. I pray that people will glorify you for what the things that they see you work through me. Thank you because you remain who you are and you are willing to show and unfold your salvation to me though I am not worthy. Through your Son Jesus Christ, I am worthy. Thank you! In Jesus' name, amen.
