SOLID GROUND.
Wk 3 Day 7 (make up reading)
Matthew 7:24-25
24"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
God will always speak to us. It is us who need to do the doing so we can be blessed and be founded on Christ's firm ground. Doing what God has called us to do is wisdom; firmly founded; and will not be moved or shaken. How come many still don't put God's Words into practice? A few factors: (1) they are still consumed with their own agenda, (2) they cannot trust God , (3) they're not true believers and followers of Christ.
Which one are you?
As I obey Christ in following my call, I believe that He is firmly planting me on a solid rock. As I follow His will in my life, I will not be shaken by any storm or winds because I have my roots dug under the firm holy ground of God. Praise God! I don't need to worry about everything else in my life because God has already taken cared of all those things for me. To be strong in Christ, I ought to keep doing what He tells me to do.
Lord, thank you so much for your Word that reminds me of what and who I need to be. Help me to continually trust in You that whatever You tell me to do, I will do it immediately without waiting until it's too late. God, please plant me firmly in Your truth. By doing your Word, I can be strong. Thank you! I claim favor and the fulfillment of your promises in my life. In Jesus' name, amen.
