GET IT.
(The Mind of Christ)

1 Corinthians 2:13-16
13 When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit’s words to explain spiritual truths. 14 But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means. 15 Those who are spiritual can evaluate all things, but they themselves cannot be evaluated by others. 16 For,

“Who can know the Lord’s thoughts?
Who knows enough to teach him?”

But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.

Truly there are things that we talk about in the church that can't be understand by the people of this world (unbelievers). Those who have the Spirit of God understand the things we talk about because v. 16 says, we have the mind of Christ. As believers, we have been given the opportunity to know and understand the thoughts of God. When it seems somewhat confusing sometimes to understand something spiritual, know that God has already given you the ability to get it. Now it would be up to us to really GET IT by having an open mind and heart, always sensitive to the Spirit of God that He has given us.

Though there are things in my life that I may NOT seem to understand at this moment, I know that God will reveal them to me. I have the mind of Christ and I will know what God thinks about the various situations in my life because I HAVE THE SPIRIT OF GOD IN ME. I just need to be continually sensitive to His Spirit and He's telling me.

Lord, thank u for the gift you have given me to understand what you have in mind. Thank you for your Spirit that's constantly at work within me to help me know what you want me to do. I pray that you will guide me and help me to be sensitive. With all the chaos going on in th world , I pray that you will shield my thoughts to always be thinking about what pleases you. I want to understand more what you have in mind. In Jesus' name, amen.
