YOUR BOAT.

Genesis 8:1
1 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and livestock with him in the boat. He sent a wind to blow across the earth, and the floodwaters began to recede.

We may go through various seasons life but we must remember that God is always with us during those seasons. During this time, Noah and his family was already in the boat, waiting for the flood to recede. They waited for a long time (40 days and 40 nights). For them, it may have seemed forever. Nevertheless, they waited and enjoyed/endured the stay. After the flood, God remembered them -- He didn't forget or just let is pass forgetting Noah and his family. God knew exactly when to send a wind to blow across the earth for the floodwaters to recede.

In times of "floods" in our lives, we ought to know that God always has his way to "recede the waters". He does not forget us... that we are still in the boat waiting for the boat to dock. God has has his perfect timing, his way to let the water drain, and let us out of the boat to do more things for His glory. Our encouragement is to wait in the boat. Do not despair, God has not forgotten You.

I must continually wait in this boat I am in. I know God will not forget me. In fact, He knows exactly everything going on around me; my mind and my life. I will wait for God's timing for what other things God has prepared for me when the boat docks. I am really excited to see this new place where God is taking me.

Lord, help me to be ready. While I am waiting in this boat, I pray that you will help me enjoy and patiently endure. I want to make the most of where I am right now and help me to discern when to take my "raven" to check if the waters have receded. I want to just do what you want. Thank you for reminding me of your love for me. In Jesus' name, amen.
