WISE LIVING.

Ephesians 5:15-17
Be very careful, then, how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.

Our call is to live wisely. To live wisely is to understand the will of God. To understand the will of God, we must consistently hang out with God, live by the Spirit and constantly renewing our minds to conform to the mind of Christ. Making the most of every opportunity is also living wisely. No wasting of opportunity in living out our lives for Christ.

In what way can I be wise in the way I live my life? For me to live a wise lifestyle, I must understand God's will. When I do, I will not act dumb or think foolishly about things. I will know God's will - through His Word and being sensitive to the Spirit of God in me.

Lord, help me to know Your will in every situation that I may not act foolishly towards it. Thank you that your wisdom is available to me. Thank you that you will give me wisdom whenever I need it (James 1:5). I want to live wisely and I know that in You, I am able to. Thank you because your wisdom is beyond the wisdom of this world. I praise You for who You are. In Jesus' name, amen.
