John 20:29
Then Jesus told him,
Blessed are those who believe without seeing me... Isn't that us? Those who have believe after Jesus ascended to heaven? That is awesome! We are blessed for believing on the things we "haven't seen". However, we know that we also "have seen" Jesus in many ways - Jesus in people, Jesus in nature, Jesus in circumstances, Jesus in everything else that He "showed Himself to". Regardless, what Jesus was talking about here is those who did not see Him in person (during His 33 years on earth). That is us. Believe that you are blessed! God the Son has expressed that Himself. Act as if you are. Stop living a life of defeat. We have believed that Jesus is God, our Savior and Lord. Live it O blessed one!
I am blessed for I believe in Jesus Christ. There are many times I forget that being blessed means someone who "envied". On a positive note, if people envy me for having Christ, that gives me an opportunity to share to them the love of Christ and my relationship with Him. I must live my life as someone who's blessed - in everything in my life. If believing in Christ means a blessed life, I will all the more believe Him.
Lord, thank you for your blessings. Help me to remember this truth always that it is such a privilege to be blessed by wholly believing in You. I believe in You and I always will. Help me to live my life as a blessed person; not living in defeat; not thinking in defeat; but rather, living my life in full. Thank you Jesus, in Your name, Amen.
