Vows.

Numbers 6:21b
He must fulfill the vow he has made, according to the law of the Nazarite.

Vows are as important as life itself. When we make a vow to God, it's considered a 2-way agreement between us and God. It is important that we carry out our vows (or commitment) with complete submission to God; following and doing what it entails with. It's not a "play thing"; it's "business" between us and God. What vow have we made before God? How are we treating it? How are we living it?

VOWS > things I said I was going to do with an agreement with God; a covenant; a commitment. It comes with "rules" to abide with to keep us in tact in this vow. To be free from falling away from this vow, stay fresh always in obeying the "rules" and carrying it out daily.

I ought to take my vows (and commitments) seriously - carrying out my vows with pride and humility. Ive failed to carry out many vows I made before God in the past. I must not allow that to over take me again. I must be who I ought to be by doing what my vows entail.

Lord, please reveal to me your boundaries with the vows I made to you. Help me to be faithful and now allow anything to pull me away or even tempt me to forget about my vow to you. I ask for our Holy Spirit to empower me and lead me in all my ways. In Jesus' name, amen.
