3His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 2 Peter 2:3


When the Lord gives us this "Promise Land", we must remain blameless before the Lord. It is easy to just go about our way when we get to our "destination". We know that Peter also reminds us that we will have the ability to remain godly (thus, blameless) through the divine power that God has given us. Note that he "has given us" already. This is already available to us now. We need to grab it!

I can't wait to see what God has in-stored for my future. I will never be godly in the future if I am not godly now. What I am now will mirror my future. Therefore, I will stay godly in my daily living, living for God and pleasing Him every single time of my life!

Lord, thank you for your Word. You are awesome and I will live for you all the days of my life. Please help me to always grab hold of what you have already given me. Thank you because you care for me more than I know! I praise you my Lord and Savior, Jesus! Amen
