Proverbs 16:18
18 Pride goes before destruction,
a haughty spirit before a fall.

Pride is the biggest issue among people. There are a lot of successful people who went bankrupt, or lost a position, or are being disrespected, etc because of the pride that's in them. Truly, the Proverb tells us that PRIDE is the beginning of destruction and HAUGHTY SPIRIT is the beginning of a fall. Haughty is simply defined as disdainfully proud; snobbish; scornfully arrogant; supercilious. All these words boils down to the word PRIDE or selfishness! We must continually check ourselves if our lives are ran by LOVE or by PRIDE. Let us remember that through PRIDE, we expect failure, destruction and a fall in every aspect of life. Pride is stinky... you don't want that in your life!

I must check my motives all the time in everything that i do, think of, or say. I must know that God wants me to be selfless, always thinking about how I can be Godly and righteous. When I start to feel that I am acting "snobbish", i need to then immediately check myself and change it immediately. Let NO PRIDE CREEP IN in your life, Belle!

God, i live for you. Please help me that I may mirror my life in your Word and change me from glory to glory. All of you and none of me!!! Amen.
