CUT TO THE HEART
Through the Book of Acts
[Acts 1-3]

Acts 2:37
37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? (KJV)

This was Peter's address to the crowd during the day of the Pentecost; after the event of when the Holy Spirit came down and everyone spoke in unknown tongues.
People thought that they were drunk; but it was only 9 AM.
>> When the Holy Spirit moves, it could during times when we least expect it (unusual time).
Peter's address touched people's hearts.
>>When people's hearts are "cut", they will as, "...what shall we do?"
>> A person who is truly changed by the Word of God would be followed by the desire to repent.

:: As a follower of Christ, repentance is one true reality that I have to face in order to be continually sanctified. Praise God that He has given me the Holy Spirit to "get back to the top" whenever I fail or whenever I mess up. There were many times this past week when I just totally lost my cool and catered to my own emotions. I want to change that and of course, I have been corrected and rebuked. Now it's time to do it. >> I must act immediately on what the Word says I must change.

// Lord, you are awesome. Thank you for Your Word that always reminds me of what I should be. Thank you for the people that you place around me to help sharpen my life to become the person you want me to be. You have shown me how much I need your Holy Spirit to empower me to be able to do what may sometimes be hard to do (but yet it is easy!). Oh Lord, please continually speak to me that I may hear you and always have the desire to please You. Thank you, In Jesus' name, amen.
