ASSIGNMENT
Through the Book of Acts
[Acts 17]

Acts 17:26-28a (AMP)

²⁶And He made from one [common origin, one source, one blood] all nations of men to settle on the face of the earth, having definitely determined [their] allotted periods of time and the fixed boundaries of their habitation (their settlements, lands, and abodes),

²⁷So that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after Him and find Him, although He is not far from each one of us.

²⁸For in Him we live and move and have our being

Why did God predestined the time and place where men must settle? So that they should seek God. How?

• We are assigned in different places and time for a reason.
• God wants us to find out what He wants us to do in that particular assignment.
• Our goal is to seek God's direction at the location/assignment where we are placed.
• God wants us to realize that in everything in life, it is THROUGH HIM that we live, move, and have our being (v. 28a).

Should we complain of where God has placed us in this assignment? We definitely should not. We know that there's a reason why God has put us where we are right now so we may continually seek Him. We must, therefore, be faithful where are assigned - constantly seeking Him for what He wants us to do in this lifetime.

// I may not fully understand why God has placed me where I am right now. I will just continually be faithful to the call of GOD in my life as a carrier of His truth. I must be diligent in studying the Word and relying on the Holy Spirit to reveal His revelations that I can apply in my life. In the best way I can share the truth to others, I will be just be faithful in it. I will seek God and find out what He wants me to do in this assignment that He has given to me.

Lord, I do not fully understand what all of these mean. But, I will trust in You. Help me to realize and get illumined further on what your Word is talking about. I pray that as of now, I will just continually be faithful to You in every way I can be with the way I live my life. I pray that you will guide me through my daily activities and that I will be effective at the place where you have assigned me to grow and give out what you have blessed me with. Thank you that You know what you're doing and I can trust in You! In Jesus' name, amen.
