MY REFUGE (Part 2)
Wk 12 Day 4

Psalm 34:8
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

There are dangers that we face every single day; dangers spiritually, emotionally, and physically. It is easy for us to find refuge in the wrong places, especially ones that we want to see with our eyes (not by faith). Those who find refuge in the Lord is blessed - someone who is to be envied; someone who is experiencing (tasting) and seeing the goodness of the Lord. When we are faced with dangers of any kind, may we remember to find refuge in God.

The dangers that I face in my life are not to be feared for I can find refuge in my God. When I feel like I am threatened with what's about to come, I will just take a moment to find peace with God. With God, I am safe. I will trust that. I will remain in Him.

Lord, thank you for this assurance. Please give me ways on how I can find refuge in you daily, on a practical level. I pray that you will help me remember the assurance of being safe whenever I am on your side. Thank you Oh Lord for You are my refuge, indeed. In Jesus' name, amen.
