REMAINS THE SAME
Wk 9 Day 6
Isaiah 45:5,7
5 I am the LORD, and there is no other;
apart from me there is no God.
I will strengthen you,
though you have not acknowledged me,
7 I form the light and create darkness,
I bring prosperity and create disaster;
I, the LORD, do all these things.
God is amazing no matter what people do to him. His graciousness is not dictated by what we offer him or how we praise him. He just gives it to us without counting anything of how much we deserve. We already know that we don't deserve anything from him because of our stubbornness, yet he still does it because that's just who he is.
I am thankful for who God is to me - One who never changes and one who keeps what He says. The least I can do in return, though I will never get to repay Him is to live my life for His glory. I will make it to a point that my actions, my words, my everything reflects the glory of God. I will soak myself with God through His word, and always acting as God wants me to... I will do my best to connect with him throughout the day because I want my desires and my heart to go with what He desires.
Lord, thank you for you remain who you are. Thank you with all my heart. I pray that you will be glorified with the way I live my life. Remove from me anything that will ruin your name. I pray that you will help me always look to you in everything. I lift this up to you in Jesus' name, amen.
