DISSATISFACTION = WASTED TIME
Wk 10 Day 6

Isaiah 55:2-3
2 Why spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.
3 Give ear and come to me;
hear me, that your soul may live.
I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
my faithful love promised to David.

A reminder that only in God we find complete satisfaction. We may work so hard yet in the end, we gain nothing that satisfies us. But if we do what truly gives us completeness, we are not wasting time, rather we are building up what we are already supposed to be doing.

Find out what truly satisfies and do it.

I have found what I am satisfied of doing - first, living my life for God and second, fulfilling the calling of God in my life. With anything, small or big, I must make it a principle to find out if the 'labor' is worth satisfying. If not, I am just wasting my time. I only want to do things that will help my life complete in Christ - I do not want to waste my time.

Lord, thank you for affirming my call - living for You and fulfilling Your call. I pray that with the things around me, trivial or big, I pray that I will be able to discern which ones are the satisfying ones and also those who are just occupying my time and wasting it. Please give me guidance. In Jesus' name, amen.
