OBEDIENCE
The way to the Promise Land.

Numbers 14:8-9
8 If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. 9 Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them."
The Lord is faithful to His promises. The reason why the Israelites weren't able to reach to the promise land is because of their disobedience. Only a couple of them made it, those who were faithful no matter what came along the way. Are we heading to our promise land? How are we being faithful in our everyday living to get there safe and sound? If there's anything in our hearts that may be disobeying God or rebelling against God, may we have the fear and the ability to fight against the temptation of disobedience. Experience the faithfulness of God's promises by being faithful to Him every single day. Let God be pleased in us, He will never forsake or forget His promsie.
SIGH. God is awesome. I will be obedient to Him. I know that I am on my way to the promise land. God, in his word says that he will give me a sign.. but I have to be willing to obey. God said that he will give me what He has promised... but I have to obey His orders. What is left for me to do? OBEDIENCE, it is. Practically - i need to divert my thinking into something that pleases God and turn down every temptation that first starts in my mind. I will just enjoy my wait time and not grumble or go ahead of it.
Lord, please help me to overcome the temptation of disobedience. I pray that you change my mind, renew it to the way you want me to think. I pray that You will help me to always align my thoughts to what you would be thinking also. Help me to be more effective and just to delight in your paths on my way to the promise land. Thank you Lord, In Jesus' name amen.
