CALEB'S FAITHFULNESS
(Wk 3 Day 3)

Joshua 14:13-14
13 Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as his inheritance. 14 So Hebron has belonged to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite ever since, because he followed the LORD, the God of Israel, wholeheartedly.

A few things in Caleb's story:
1. He knew what promises God had for him. (v. 10-12)
2. He demanded for his right, what he worked for and deserved. (v. 12)
3. He followed God wholeheartedly; meaning, he was faithful. (v. 8, 14)
4. He received what was promised to him. (v. 13-14)

My application:
I have desires that I know God will give if I am faithful to Him. God will see how faithful I am in following Him through my daily walk and He knows when and what to give me based on my faithfulness. Not that God's blessings will depend on that, because His promises are set, but I know that God also knows how much and what I can handle so I can be effective.

What are the things I desire?
- God's final confirmation and peace for my call.
- The right time and person

What do I do now?
- I know God promised that he has a great plan for my life (Jer. 29:11). Thus, I will be faithful to the call of God in my life.
- Be faithful in remaining pure. Be faithful in becoming "worthy" of him and Him. For right now, I feel that I am being tested in my emotional control. I need to remain strong and rely on God's supernatural power. Not depending on what I feel at the moment. Stay, stay, stay strong!

Lord, I need your help. Please guide me and help me to be faithful to You and to all the things you have called me to do. I pray that you will empower me to NOT let my emotions take over. I know this is not the best time of the month (heheh) but I know I can be better. Please help me to rely on You. Forgive me for trusting in my own strength - that is absolutely nothing compared to yours. I pray that You will just guide me at all times. Thank You Jesus. I'm claiming your blessings in my life and the granting of the desires of my heart as I faithfully follow You. In Jesus' name, amen.
