TESTIMONY.

Philippians 1:25-26 (NIV)
²⁵Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, ²⁶so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me.

²⁵ Knowing this, I am convinced that I will remain alive so I can continue to help all of you grow and experience the joy of your faith. ²⁶ And when I come to you again, you will have even more reason to take pride in Christ Jesus because of what he is doing through me.


May we be able to say the same thing Apostle Paul said to the people of Philippi. What a great testimony of service to God. He was imprisoned, beaten up, almost killed, shipwrecked, etc.. Yet, he continued to live for God. He was convinced and knew exactly that his being with the people of Philippi will keep them growing in the faith because of his (Paul's) testimony. Are we able to say the same thing? Are people going to be blessed and grow in their faith by having us around? If so, how? If not, what do we need to work on so people will grow in their faith by seeing our lives?

SIGH. Wow, I want to be able to say the same thing. I need to continouosly work on my testimony in Christ. I will please God in everything. I will purposely decide to leave a legacy that will help others see what Christ can do when we put Him first. I want to be a good testimony to others by the way I live my life, the way I conduct myself, the way I speak my words, the way I work with the stress and problems in life, etc. May others see how I am truly letting Jesus work my life, and not my own.

Lord, it is only through You that I am able to be a light to this world - to the unbelievers and to the believers. I pray that you will work in me; that my weaknesses will be strengthened by Your amazing power. I pray that you empower me, as you have with my forefathers, to do great things for you. When stress and busyness clouds my life, I pray that you will unpack that and bring me rest for your promise you would. Thank you Jesus for giving me the HS to guide me through life's ups and downs. I come to You Father that You just hold me together. HS, please guide my thoughts and my heart that I will only think about what will please the Father. Thank you for this opportunity to show Jesus Christ in me with my life- the things that You are doing in my life. Thank you, In Jesus' name, amen.
