TIRED? Pray.

Psalm 118:5 (NLT)
5 In my distress I prayed to the Lord,
and the Lord answered me and set me free.

There are many times that we are distressed with everything that is going on around us. We know that when we come to the Lord in prayer when we are in positions like this, He will answer us and will set us free. Don't hold back prayers when you are distressed. When you're feeling tired or down, know that you can always come to God in prayer - He will set you free!

I have been enormously tired because of all the responsibilities in life. Sometimes I feel like I just want to cry because I can't do it anymore. Mentally, I am able to, but sometimes my physical body can't handle it anymore. Just like yesterday, I had such a long day and stressful day. I've enjoyed all of it, however, my body at night, was just aching. I know I can come to the Lord in prayer and He will set me free. Maybe He will give me ways on how I can manage things better.. to not be so busy so I don't feel as tired. I'm sure God will guide me on what to do during my prayer time. My encouragement to myself? When you're tired, just spend time in prayer.

Lord, thank you that You have given me the assurance that when I pray, you will be there to listen to me. Please help me not to forget that even at busy times, and when I am very tired, I can come to you and seek out for your strength through prayer. Remind me of that always Lord that I will not rely on my strength or just get frustrated right away. Guide my thoughts and my actions that I will make wise decisions every time. Thank you, in Jesus' name, amen.
