Little Children.

Matthew 18:6
But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

How many times do we forget this? Lots of times. Again, talking about how we must not only think about ourselves. consider the "little children" who are eager to learn more about God, be used for His Kingdom, love God more, get to know who He is, etc. They are the ones we ought to continuously encourage and guide. If we become a hindrance to them, it's better off that we're dead! How horrible can that be?! Mind them, think about them, encourage them, guide them and let them know that we there for them as people who have gone a little step "ahead" in the journey and "older" in the faith.

I am being reminded again by this verse. I must therefore heed God's still small voice to make sure that I am not a hindrance to these "little children" - maybe new Christians, people who just recommitted their lives to God, little children (literally), etc. I will make sure that I will be an instrument to encourage them and live a life that will guide them to the way of Christian maturity. I am honored!

Lord, thank you or this awesome reminder. Use me to guide these "little children" to the way you want them to go. Please make me also like a child who will always long and be excited to do great things for You. In Jesus' name, Amen!
