GAZE ON THE UNSEEN

2 Corinthians 4:17-18
For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Praise God for the encouragement! I have been really overwhelmed lately. I have a lot of things in my mind. God knows what I am going through and I have just been patient for God to make a miracle. Apostle Paul reminds me that the troubles that I have right now are not going to last long. They are just "for now". One day, I will be able to look at this day and praise God for His amazing power that is constantly at work.

I need to be able to see what's coming ahead. It is sometimes hard to see it because of the overwhelming circumstances. Yet I will press on. I will not allow these little troubles, trials and hardships to overtake my thoughts. I must let Christ's hope over power me. It is only then I will be able to move on and leave behind the troubles that I am experiencing right now. I believe that they will soon be gone and I will rejoice for what Christ is going to bring on in my life, my family and my ministries. Praise God for the assurance of hope! I will indeed rejoice.

Lord, thank you soooo much for your faithfulness. Thank you for the encouragement that you have given me today. Truly, you never leave me alone especially in the midst of circumstances such as where I am at right now. I ask that you please help me to let your mighty power to rule over my thoughts and not the negative things that are going on around me. I want to trust in you completely. I do trust you, yet there are things that bother me and worry me. Please remove them away from my thoughts. Help me to function back to where I used to be (and even better!). I believe in your promises and I am claiming the blessings right now! Thank you, Jesus. Amen :)
