Ephesians 3:14-17
14
When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, 15 the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. 16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.

Paul was explaining how he was called to be one who share the Word to the Gentiles. And when he thinks of all this (v.14), he falls to his knees and pray to the Father for empowerment for us (Gentiles). IN the same way, we know that God has called us for something in our lives. We know that Christ's Spirit never leaves us to continually empower us to do what He has called us to do. We ought to continually trust God that He can give us the empowerment to do great things that we may continue to grow in Him.

I will trust in God for what He has entrusted me to do. Sometimes I get so caught up on how I can be better without even remembering that I can just let everyone GO to God alone. He knows how to deal with things much better than I do, so I need to trust God more; praying for situations that I may truly be empowered. I expect growth in my life by continually trusting God more and more.

Lord, help me not to neglect or forget about what you can do - the empowerment that you give me when I just trust in You. I know I trust in you but sometimes my mind gets clouded by current situations that I forget that you are the source of power! Please give me wisdom. Help me to grow int he knowledge of you and learning to trust you more each and every day! In Jesus name, Amen.
