Psalm 51:12
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

So many times we ask God to keep us fresh every day. Yes, this is a noble request that we can ask for God to grant but sometimes we forget to ask to give us the willing spirit to sustain us. I have been tired lately and my prayer is always been to have the time to have that quality time of prayer. I still forget to ask God for a willing spirit - but I actually do ask him for that willing spirit many times at various times of my life. When Peter and some other guy at the garden of Gethsemane fell asleep while Jesus was praying, they wanted to be with Jesus at that time but yet their flesh were weak. Jesus did say that their spirit was willing but the flesh is weak. But if you think about it, having the willing spirit will enable us to get sustained through tough times in our spiritual walk. When we seem to be lazy, don't forget to ask God about "sustainance" which is what we need daily to get through life.

I need God's strength to overwhelm me with all the stuff I have to do for school. I have too much stuff that sometimes I cant find the time to do it. I will have faith that I will be sustained in my spirit through the Spirit of God!

Lord, please grant me a willing spirit and please sustain me with all the stuff I need to finish. I trust in Your strength! AMEN!
