Philippians 2:3-4
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

This is a reminder that we all need to remember at all times. Disunity happens because of selfish ambitions of people. Quarrels happen because of people who think they are better than others. Divisions happen because people do not look at the interests of others but only themselves. Let us be reminded that when we keep thinking about OURSELVES all the time - me, mine and I, we will then cause disunity, quarrels, arguments, divisions, and the like. When we take out me,mine and I in our vocabulary, we then start to use you and yours and even ours... If we want unity, dont be selfish. Always consider others to be better. Don't think about yourself all the time, not your own welfares but others.

Yes, I have learned this before but I need to be constantly reminded that this is what I need to avoid any form of arguments or even me getting mad at people for the wrong reasons. Yes, it's ok to get mad as long as the reason will still boil down to being caring for others and not just my own welfare. I will start saying "YOU" and "YOUR" and "OUR" than me, mine and I.

Lord, please help me to remember this. Sometimes I just forget that life is about giving in to others and not myself. Help me to be like Your Son Jesus Christ that I may walk in humility and unselfishness. Please Holy Spirit, may you give me the strength and the capability to remember this truth. I will abide in You! In Jesus' name Amen.
