Psalm 8:4-6
4 what are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them?[c]
5 Yet you made them only a little lower than God[d]
and crowned them[e] with glory and honor.
6 You gave them charge of everything you made,
putting all things under their authority—
God has given us the opportunity to be in authority of everything on earth that are under the realm of GOD and those are: animals, creatures, nature, etc... Yes, we are priviledged to be only a little less than God. We should praise God for it because he has given us the authority to be over these things that we think could "incaptivate" us in some way. Many people think that we have no control over what happens in our surroundings. The truth is, we do because God has given us free will. We have control over things that happen in our lives. It's up to us whether we'd like to control things humanly or in a Godly - righteous way. Let us remember that God has given us the authority to make use of our time wisely and to be aware of how to handle things (evil things) in these last days. We must learn how to be wise - not for our own sake but for the sake of glorifying the name of Christ Jesus. Nothing for us. Our authority is for His glory, not ours. It will be benefit us but that should not control our authority either, after all, we wouldn't be in authority if that's the case.
I have control over situations in my life to make them fall according to GOd's righteous path. God has given me the power over them.... through His SPirit I must be able to go pass the "incaptivity" of the situations around me. Not fooling myself either, but always remembering to be wise in GOd's eyes. Taking control over situations in my life that I may think as something "i have no control over with". I must be wise and act according to the will of God that I may continually glorify His name in all I do.
Lord, please be in control of my life. Help me take authority in making my situations go according to how you designed them to be. Thanks for free will, but please help me that my will will go according to yours. I have authority over the enemy through your Spirit that is IN ME! Thank you God and I praise You for who you are! I love u Lord. Amen
