Foundation

Luke 6:47-48
I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.

Do you want true foundation? Hear and practice what you know about the Word of God. We are secure when we practice what the Word of God says. We do not need to worry about how we can be stable in life. By just knowing and doing the Word of God, we are in a firm foundation. Nothing can take us down because we are grounded in the truth. Hunger and thirst for God's Word and put them into practice. If you just hear but not practice, it doesn't work. It's hear + practice = firm foundation.

I will continually seek God through his word and learning more about him. Also, I will practice everything that I hear and know from the Bible so I can be in a firm foundation that no one can shake.

Thank you God that you are my firm foundation. Please speak to me as I read your Word and give me courage that i'll be able to practice what I have learned every single day. Thank you Jesus. In Your name, Amen.
