Deuteronomy 6:7-9
7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

How much time do we ought to spend in meditating on the Word of God? Everytime! Sometimes we forget the Word when we face different things in our lives. When we are faced with trials, temptations, struggles, hardships, or too much "happy" times, we forget to meditate on the Word. To meditate is to simply think about it (to engage in thought, contemplation, reflection). It's not that hard at all. When faced with different stuff in life, go ahead and be thinking about the Word of God. What does the Word of God say about my situation? According to Word, what is it that I should be doing about my situation? Many times, we end up concluding our own struggles with the comparison among other people. We tend to depend on how others respond to their own situations instead of thinking about what God would do in our situation. The challenge is, are you constantly thinking about the Word?

I will be thinking about the Word constantly in my life. Whatever situation I am in, I need to always ask the questions: What does the Word of God say about my situation? According to Word, what is it that I should be doing about my situation? I will constantly think about the Word in every moment / minute of my life.

Lord, thank you for reminding me the importance of meditating on your Word. You are truly amazing. I pray that you will help me rely on you more, trust in you more, and put my faith in action. Thank you again for your love to me... it is wonderful! Amen
