Proverbs 25:15
Through patience a ruler can be persuaded,

and a gentle tongue can break a bone.

Being godly is almost as hard as breaking a solid rock. In this verse, there are 2 things that we can be reminded of as we continuously walk in the narrow path of holiness... patience and gentleness. Most of the time, we are bombarded by many different things that causes us to get stressed and say hurtful things to the people we encounter. We must remember that, having patience is an attribute that must be carried at all times. It persuades the "kings". Probably not literally kings, but maybe the people that are hard to convince... or people that have a hard-heart. If we are persistent and/or patient in everything, know that we are able to convince them [hard-hearted folks]. Another thing is having a gentle tongue... always watching what we say is the best thing in order to keep our walk steady as a Christian. Many times, when we are mad, or stressed-out... being gentle is just out of the vocabulary. But remember that having a gentle tongue can break a bone - meaning, it can penetrate deeply to the heart, it can soften a hard heart, it can make someone feel bad (if they are acting rudely towards you), etc.

Two things: Patience - being able to persevere, and to be persistent in waiting. Gentle tongue - being able to hold integrity through words... always gentle in dealing verbally with people. That's what I need to do and be.

Lord, it is only through your help and your spirit that I am able to be and to have these two things. Without u, I just cant do it. I have strength in you and I am able to do everything through the strength that you give me. In Your name, Jesus. Amen!
