ISRAEL, FULL OF YEARS
Wk 12 Day 2
Genesis 47:31b
31 "Swear to me," he said. Then Joseph swore to him, and Israel worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.
Even to the end of Jacob's life, he still worshiped God. It's amazing to see with all the experiences he's gone through in life, he was full of years. How? He did what was right in the eyes of God. When we honor God with our lives, God will fill our years with strength, provision, restoration, guidance, and all things we can think of. That is why Matthew 6:33 talks about being provided about everything else if we put God's kingdom first.
AWESOME. I was just really thinking about Matt. 6:33 and there it is; everything has been tied altogether for me to see that if I just do everything God wants me to do - for the expansion of his kingdom, I don't have to sweat getting to other things God knows I need because He will just provide it as when need, time-wise. Praise God. He knows all things. I will be faithful in my family, my ministry, and to all other things God has called me to do. I will just honor God with everything that I am.
Lord, I am yours. Thank you for peace that you will just guide me through. I pray that just like Israel, I will choose to put you as the center of everything. I want to have full of years doing the very things you want me to do for your glory. Use me Oh God and help me to continually trust in You to the minute detail of my life. In Jesus' name, amen.
