MY REFUGE
Wk 11 Day 6

Isaiah 57:10, 13c
10 You were wearied by all your ways,
but you would not say, 'It is hopeless.'
You found renewal of your strength,
and so you did not faint.

13 But the man who makes me his refuge
will inherit the land
and possess my holy mountain."

This verse speaks to me because it assures me that God is my only true refuge (shelter or protection from danger, trouble, etc.). From this week's "sad" devotions, I believe that God is just protecting me from the danger that it was going to cause if I didn't listen to His Word. God is truly great and He cares for me.

God is my shelter, my protection, my refuge... I will seek Him out continuously and not feel that my situation is hopeless because I have found my renewal in Christ. I will move on and thanking Him for everything that He has done for me. Nothing is wasted (just like the call - I have gone to secular school but ended up called to the ministry), everything has its step to where I am headed. I will still praise God no matter where God is taking me. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Lord, thank you for you truly care for me. Everything I do in life my give glory to Your name for everything is for YOU! I pray that you will empower me to always remember that You cause everything to work things out in life, and I will continue to praise You for it. Thank you, I will continue to praise You and worship You! In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
