RENEWING YOUR MIND.
Wk 7 Day 3

Luke 19:8
⁸But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount."

Judges 10:6-7
⁶ Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD. They served the Baals and the Ashtoreths, and the gods of Aram, the gods of Sidon, the gods of Moab, the gods of the Ammonites and the gods of the Philistines. And because the Israelites forsook the LORD and no longer served him,

Unless there is the renewing of the mind, salvation will not be real. Zacchaeus experienced salvation because from being a greedy person, he has renewed his mind to be that of the opposite. The reason why the Israelites never experienced prosperity as a nation in consistency, is because they always went back to their old ways. Romans 12 talks about the renewal of our minds in order for us to experience the good, perfect and pleasing will of God. Unless we do, we will never experience it. May we renew our minds on a day to day basis; not thinking about the now as the Israelites did but rather thinking of what's coming ahead. RENEW YOUR MIND.

I want to know the will of God in my life, especially in specific areas. I need to constantly renew my mind - to consume it thinking Godly thoughts and things that God would want me to think about. I need to change the way I think about things and see what God thinks about it.

From yesterday - God can bring anyone. Rebekah's story. This is opposite of what I usually think. God will work supernaturaly, as what I have asked Him to do for me to see a sign. However, God will not forsake His promises in my life and will honor my desires if I delight myself in Him.

For now, I will DELIGHT - have fun, think ahead, be faithful... He will supernaturally let things happen. I don't have to work anything to get there. I will renew my mind by constantly thinking about Godly thoughts. Not to please anyone or myself but be changed from glory to glory according to the Word of God.

Lord, please give me peace in my heart regarding the things I've been praying about. Help me to not work things out on my own because I know you already got everything figured out. I pray that you will empower me to not give in to my own wants and to my evil desires. I pray that you will fill my thoughts with things of everlasting and not temporary things. May you show to me the supernatural things you want to show me at the right time. Help me not to "force things in" especially when I know it's not time yet. I have faith that you are also speaking to the right people regarding things. Thank you Lord for You are always faithful to me. In Jesus' name, amen.
