WIPED IT OUT.
Wk 2 Day 2
Genesis 6:17-18
17 I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. 18 But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons' wives with you.
Sometimes God has to "wipe-out" everything to re-establish his plans to us. We shouldn't worry when God is doing some sort of re-establishment of people, situations, etc, because now we know that God is just re-organizing things so he we can "start over" and truly enjoy what He has originally planned without any "blemishes".
A few things:
1. The youth committee - I believe God is just re-establishing everything so He can move more mightily than He used to. I need not to worry even if I only have 2 people left to truly help out. God has a plan.
2. My job/call - I know God is re-establishing everything in my job. I still am not sure entirely what God is doing. Leave my job and go full time (without pay)? Or continue with my job to build more connections in reaching out and still do the same thing as what I have been doing for years? Right now, I know God is just re-organizing everything and I will just be faithful.
3. My indefinite journey - I believe that God is also re-establishing His covenant on this. He "wiped it out" and now just re-structuring things as how they should be. I will continually be patient, not rushing into things, and just allowing God to move supernaturally. Just like the harvest, I will not do anything to ruin the growth of the crops but rather, just let it grow naturally and wait for the time of harvest. I am hopeful in Christ.
Lord, thank you for Your amazing word. Even though this story has inspired many from the beginning of time, it still comes alive to me today. You truly are wonderful. Your Word is sharp and living. SIGH! God YOU ARE AWESOME. Thank you for Your Word. Help me to live out my applications for today through your Holy Spirit's power that is IN me. All this I pray in Jesus name, Amen.
