Let Him, again.

Proverbs 3:6

Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he's the one who will keep you on track.

Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.

How many times have we heard this verse before? Too many times, probably. Yet, we still get reminded by it every time. Why? Because we STILL DO NOT listen to God's voice and seek His will in everything in our lives. We still rely on our own strength, on what we can do with our abilities, and not completely letting God control our lives. We must remember that this is not only a "rebuke" to us, but also a great reminder of God's promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us. When we seek Him, He will show us which path to take; He will keep us on track. What things in your life right now that you are NOT fully giving up to God? See God's power at work when we entrust everything to God!

I will continue to seek God. I will find His will in my life. I will not stop. I will go on and not stop until God tells me which path to take. I have been "lax" in my seeking, I must embarrassingly admit. I haven't been very keen to God's voice as I should. I must continue to be as "intense" as I used to; not allowing the pressures of this world (work, home, daily life stuff..) to overwhelm me and not letting God guide me in every single thing in my life. I will trust God. I will seek Him - more intensely than before.

Lord, I want Your guidance. But, I know it won't be clear to me unless I seek it wholly - with all my heart, soul and strength. I want to know your will. Help me to stay on course; to be intense in my time with you - not shallow or just because I need to. Help me to hear your voice more clearly. Keep me away from anything that will make me rely on my own. I cannot do it by myself and I am helpless without you. Please guide me Lord. In Jesus' name, amen.
