Just Blabbin'

"Why? What crime has he committed?" asked Pilate.

But they shouted all the louder, "Crucify him!" - Matthew 27:23

When I was talking to a friend today, she had a lot of complains about different things. I brought up a topic about homosexually and she just went on and on with what she thinks it is. This happened before I read this passage about Christ on the way to the crucifixion. I was praying in my mind that I will just become a testimony to her, so I didn't really say much. She had a lot of oppositions and funny historical information about Christianity and stuff which sometimes ticks you off. I just said what I had to say. I tried to do it in a way that she would understand but my approach didn't work. This passage, pretty much reminds me of how the world really perceive Christ (and his followers). People will just say whatever they want to say, but if they are really asked the same question Pilate asked the people, they really have nothing to say. They just blab and say "Crucify him!". They have nothing else to say but oppositions. As Christians we must remember that Christ has experienced the same things we experience right now. How did Jesus react to the people and/or the answer to the questions that Pilate asked? He didn't really react to the Untrue Assumptions about him, but rather, he just plainly said who he was. We can do the same thing. Handle every conversation well and know that they're actually "just blabbin'". For the most, they don't really know what theyre getting themselves into. Just tell the truth about Jesus and your safe!

Praise God that I didn't totally get argumentative or got mad when things like these happen. Next time, I will be better in handling situations when people try to say oppositions about Christianity and think that people are "just blabbin'" about what they hear in the surroundings. I will be just be a better testimony by the way I respond. I will keep it honorable and always telling what the truth of God's word says.

God, thank you that you always guide me in every way. Help me to become just like your son Jesus Christ who was able to handle all the pressures and difficulties in living a holy life. I know I am able to do this because in you, nothing is impossible. Thank you Jesus. In Your name, Amen!
